- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'braviax' = '<SYSTEM32>\braviax.exe'
Changes the following executable system files:
- <DRIVERS>\beep.sys
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\beep.sys
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\logonui.exe' /status /shutdown
Attempts to shut down the Windows operating system.
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- <Current directory>\delself.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\figaro.sys
- <SYSTEM32>\braviax.exe
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'StatusWindowClass' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
