Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\MSI.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- C:\Microsoft Software Installer\MSI.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\wmiadap.exe /R /T
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\wbem\Performance\WmiApRpl_new.ini
- C:\Microsoft Software Installer\MSI.exe
- C:\MSI.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\MSI.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- C:\autorun.inf
- C:\Microsoft Software Installer\MSI.exe
- C:\MSI.exe
