Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\PSN Rat 2.0.exe' = '%APPDATA%\PSN Rat 2.0.exe:*:Enabled:PSN Rat 2.0.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\PSN Rat 2.0.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempf.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempserver.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\PSN Rat 2.0.exe" "PSN Rat 2.0.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\PSN Rat 2.0.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempf.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempserver.exe
