- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'Microsoft Software Licensing' = 'SIsvc.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft Software Licensing' = 'SIsvc.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'Microsoft Software Licensing' = 'SIsvc.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\SIsvc.exe' 444 "<Full path to virus>"
Searches for windows to
detect analytical utilities:
- ClassName: 'PROCMON_WINDOW_CLASS' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'RegMonClass' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'FileMonClass' WindowName: '(null)'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\TEMP:C980DA7D
- <SYSTEM32>\SIsvc.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\SIsvc.exe
Modifies the HOSTS file.
Deletes itself.
