To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Scvhost' = '<Full path to virus>'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\FirFox.exe.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Se-Najaf.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\FirFox.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\System32\Scvhost.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\System32\Scvhost.exe
- %TEMP%\melt.txt
- C:\FirFox.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\FirFox.exe
- C:\FirFox.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Se-Najaf.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'Shell_traywnd' WindowName: ''
