- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] '' = 'fada.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '' = 'fada.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\fada.exe' 364 "<Full path to virus>"
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\fada.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\fada.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\~DF416F.tmp
Deletes itself.
Network activity:
Connects to:
- '25#.#55.255.255':1122
- 'l1###.realsunix.com':1122
UDP:
- DNS ASK l1###.realsunix.com
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: '(null)'
