Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'Microsoft Update' = 'service.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft Update' = 'service.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\service.exe' 288 "<Full path to virus>"
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\service.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\service.exe
Deletes itself.
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'po###e.yi.org':6667
UDP:
- DNS ASK po###e.yi.org
