To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '3<Virus name>.exe' = 'e:\<Virus name>.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '3<Virus name>.exe' = 'e:\<Virus name>.exe'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '1<Virus name>.exe' = 'c:\<Virus name>.exe'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '<Virus name>.exe' = '<Full path to virus>'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '<Virus name>.exe' = '<Full path to virus>'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\<Virus name>.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\<Virus name>.exe
- C:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\<Virus name>.exe
- <Current directory>\autorun.inf
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- C:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\<Virus name>.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\<Virus name>.exe
- <Current directory>\autorun.inf
- C:\<Virus name>.exe
