Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- %APPDATA%\zzbrenkzz.exe
- %APPDATA%\WindowsUpdatezz\WindowsUpdate.exe
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\reg.exe ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" /v "WindowsUpdatezz" /t REG_SZ /d "%APPDATA%\WindowsUpdatezz\WindowsUpdate.exe" /f
- <SYSTEM32>\cmd.exe /c ""%TEMP%\NrMkH.bat" "
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\zzbrenkzz.exe
- %APPDATA%\WindowsUpdatezz\WindowsUpdate.exe
- %TEMP%\NrMkH.bat
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\zzbrenkzz.exe
- %APPDATA%\WindowsUpdatezz\WindowsUpdate.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\NrMkH.bat
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
