To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'MSC Boot' = 'C:\MicrosoftBootAntivirus\msseces.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'MSC Boot' = 'C:\MicrosoftBootAntivirus\msseces.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Modifies file system :
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Moves itself:
- from <Full path to virus> to C:\MicrosoftBootAntivirus\msseces.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'si#####-site.narod2.ru':80
TCP:
HTTP GET requests:
- si#####-site.narod2.ru/log.txt
UDP:
- DNS ASK si#####-site.narod2.ru
