- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] 'Shell' = 'explorer.exe "%WINDIR%\csrss.exe"'
Creates the following services:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\ZWmiApRplLL] 'Start' = '00000001'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\NTruntr.exe
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
blocks execution of the following system utilities:
- Windows Task Manager (Taskmgr)
- Registry Editor (RegEdit)
Creates and executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\csrss.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\csrss.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\drive21.sys
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\NTruntr.exe
- %WINDIR%\csrss.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\drive21.sys
